The Jazz Orchestra is a selective 20-piece musical ensemble and serves as the premier jazz ensemble of the organization. Musical selections include those composed by Ellington, Parker, Ferguson and many other jazz legends.

Membership in the Jazz Orchestra is by invite only.
Interested musicians may join our Jazz Band so that your skills and be assessed. As spots become available, we will reach out to confirm your interest and availability.
There is a $50 participation fee per quarter for VCJO members.
Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00pm at Clark College inside Beacock Music Hall (Room 110).
Visitors and interested musicians are welcome to attend and observe.

The Jazz Orchestra is available for booking throughout the year. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible.
